Disparate or desperate, either describes the gathering in June ('dark of the moon in June') on the river in the small strip of camping named, "los Piños Wilderness Area" campground. Disparate but 'welcomed' by one another and especially desperate for fly fishing, stories, giving opinions, grandstanding, attempts at extreme hyperbole and building memories, most of the two dozen men from across this great nation set camp in the place and way as has been happening for decades.
